Work-Life-Writing Balance

Hello Again!

I know I've been absent and I apologise sincerely but work and life have pulled me away from the keyboard. However, I'm back now with renewed vigour and news. Let's start with the books:

The most recent edit of Amber's Destiny is now up on the Amazon site so if you set your kindle preferences to automatically update your purchases you will get a free update of the book. I don't plan to edit again as I think I got all the minutia sorted this time. 

Amber's Prince is 3 Chapters in and progressing well with an exciting plot outline and so well thought out twists and turns to keep you guessing! I also finally gave Amber her own car:

In other news I sent my submission to an Agent this week and I'm excited and hopeful about their decision. 

Each week I get more feedback about Amber's Destiny (let's call it AD to save my wrist!) and overwhelmingly it is good. I haven't had anyone say a bad word about it which is fantastic! If you have read the book, please go back to the Amazon page and leave a few words about your opinion of the book!

Work on book two is going really well and two chapters are complete. Lots of news

Well it's been an eventful few weeks! Where to start, at the beginning would be best.

I finally got around to submitting to a literary agent and no surprises, they didn't pick it up, but then that's not really a surprise. So back to the drawing board I went and did some painstaking research.
Despite the set back I decided to get on and submit an interview to a blogger which was released yesterday:

Since then I have sold my first books in America and Germany which is really exciting!
I have also had my picture taken for a local paper and their interview and photo should go in next week's edition of the Hunts post.

Yesterday I completed the first chapter of 'Amber's Prince' and soon I will share the cover art with you all.

I am expecting a blogger's book review on the 22nd Feb which will be posted here:

Novel d'Tales

I now have a total of 8 reviews ranging from 3-5 stars and all very complimentary.

Today has been spent prepping for submissions. I have finally completed a synopsis based on the recommendations of this site:

How to Write a Book

and I have written a cover letter based on advice from this site:

So I'm about set to start submissions to agents again!

So all in all a very busy time for me! Thank goodness it's half term next week.

Sorry for the delays in blog posts but I promise to update more regularly now that I've handed in my most recent work for my Masters degree in Healthcare Education.

Happy New Year

Hi all and a Happy New Year to you all!
  With the new year comes progress.. where to start.
Firstly, the book has had it's first two reviews both of 5/5 stars labelling it a 'page turner' 'gripping' and 'very well written'.
